The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process in which unbaptized adults and/or adults who are already joined to us through Baptism in another faith tradition are instructed and integrated into our Catholic community. Their initiation period concludes with the Rite of Full Communion in which the unbaptized receive Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist and those who are already baptized receive Confirmation and Eucharist. We receive new members into Full Communion during the Easter Vigil and on the Vigil of Christ The King in late November. After an initial period of Inquiry (a time to ask questions and receive additional information about the Catholic faith), those who seek to join the Church go through the process on Sunday mornings starting with 9:00 a.m. Mass and concluding the class at 12:00 noon.
